Ingredients:
- βPotatoes: 3 large potatoes (peeled, boiled, and mashed).
- βVegetables: 1/2 cup peas (boiled), 1 finely grated carrot, and 2 chopped green onions.
- βBinding: 1 large egg and 3-4 tablespoons of all-purpose flour (or breadcrumbs).
- βSeasoning: Salt, black pepper, cumin, and a pinch of garlic powder to taste.
- βCooking: Vegetable oil for shallow frying.

- βMix: In a large bowl, combine the mashed potatoes with the peas, grated carrot, and green onions.
- βSeason & Bind: Add the egg, flour, and all the seasonings. Mix thoroughly until you have a firm dough that can be shaped.
- βTip: If the mixture feels too sticky, add an extra tablespoon of flour.
- βShape: Take a small handful of the mixture, roll it into a ball, and then flatten it between your palms to form a thick disc (just like in the photo).
- βFry: Heat a little oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties for 3-4 minutes per side until they are golden brown and crispy.
- βServe: Place them on a paper towel to drain any excess oil. Serve hot with a side salad or a dipping sauce.
