Ingredients:
- 1 cup tender coconut malai (soft flesh)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh cream
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 2 tbsp sugar (optional, adjust to taste)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions:
- Prepare the Coconut: Take the tender coconut malai and blend it into a smooth paste. If you prefer some texture, you can leave a few tiny bits.
- Mix the Base: In a large bowl, combine the heavy cream, fresh cream, milk, and condensed milk. Whisk until the mixture is smooth and well combined.
- Add Flavor: Stir in the blended coconut malai, sugar (if using), vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Mix thoroughly.
- Churn or Freeze: * If using an ice cream maker: Pour the mixture into the machine and follow the manufacturer’s instructions.
- If freezing manually: Pour the mixture into a deep container. Cover and freeze for about 2 hours. Take it out, whisk it vigorously (or blend it quickly) to break up ice crystals, then freeze again for another 4–6 hours until firm.
- Serve: Scoop into bowls and enjoy your creamy, tropical treat!
