Would you like to eat this delicious BLT sandwich? Crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor — a simple classic that never disappoints!
Ingredients:
2 slices of sourdough or toasted white bread
4–6 slices cooked crispy bacon (the “B” in BLT)
2 crisp romaine lettuce leaves
2–3 slices of ripe tomato
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Optional: a little butter or extra mayo
Instructions:
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess grease.
- Toast the bread slices until golden and lightly crisp.
- Spread mayonnaise evenly on one or both slices of bread.
- Add the romaine lettuce leaves.
- Layer the tomato slices on top and season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Add the crispy bacon strips.
- Place the second slice of bread on top.
- Slice in half and serve immediately.
