Would you like to eat this delicious BLT sandwich? Crispy, fresh, and packed with flavor — a simple classic that never disappoints!

Ingredients:

2 slices of sourdough or toasted white bread

4–6 slices cooked crispy bacon (the “B” in BLT)

2 crisp romaine lettuce leaves

2–3 slices of ripe tomato

1 tablespoon mayonnaise

Salt and black pepper, to taste

Optional: a little butter or extra mayo

Instructions:

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Transfer to paper towels to drain excess grease.
  2. Toast the bread slices until golden and lightly crisp.
  3. Spread mayonnaise evenly on one or both slices of bread.
  4. Add the romaine lettuce leaves.
  5. Layer the tomato slices on top and season lightly with salt and pepper.
  6. Add the crispy bacon strips.
  7. Place the second slice of bread on top.
  8. Slice in half and serve immediately.
