Easy Dinner Rolls (Super Soft & Fluffy)

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 ¼ tsp instant yeast (1 packet)
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • Extra butter for brushing on top

Instructions:

  1. Mix the Dough: In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add the warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Mix until a dough forms.
  2. Knead: Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
  3. First Rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
  4. Shape: Punch the dough down and divide it into 12 to 15 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a smooth ball and place them in a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  5. Second Rise: Cover the pan and let the rolls rise again for about 30-45 minutes.
  6. Bake: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.
  7. Finish: Remove from the oven and immediately brush the tops with melted butter for a soft, shiny finish.
