HOMEMADE SHAWARMA SEASONING

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbsp cumin seeds (or ground)
  • 1 tbsp coriander seeds (or ground)
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp allspice
  • 1/3 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/3 tsp cloves
  • 1/3 tsp nutmeg
  • 1/3 tsp cayenne
  • 1/3 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt

Instructions:

  1. Mix: Combine all the spices together in a small bowl. If using whole seeds (cumin or coriander), it’s best to grind them first for a smoother texture.
  2. Storage: Store the mixture in an airtight glass jar in a cool, dark place to maintain freshness.
