Garlic, Honey & Apple Cider Vinegar Tonic

This traditional infusion is often used as a natural tonic. Below is the standard preparation method for this potent combination.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Raw, unfiltered Honey (preferably organic).
  • 1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar (with “The Mother”).
  • 8 to 10 cloves Fresh Garlic.

Instructions

1. Prepare the Garlic

  • Peel the garlic cloves.
  • Mince or crush them thoroughly.
  • Pro Tip: Let the crushed garlic sit for about 10 minutes before mixing. This allows the allicin (the active compound) to fully develop.

2. Mix the Ingredients

  • In a clean glass jar, combine the minced garlic, raw honey, and apple cider vinegar.
  • Stir or shake the jar vigorously until the honey is well-incorporated into the liquid.

3. The Infusion Process

  • Seal the jar tightly and store it in the refrigerator.
  • Let the mixture infuse for 3 to 5 days before the first use to allow the flavors and properties to meld.

4. Usage & Storage

  • How to consume: Most people take 1 tablespoon in the morning. Since it is very acidic, it is highly recommended to dilute it in a large glass of warm water.
  • Storage: Keep the jar refrigerated. It can typically be stored for up to 3–4 weeks.
