❤️ Easy Pickled Beets Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 4 medium beets
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black peppercorns
  • 1 garlic clove (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Wash the beets and boil them for 35–45 minutes until tender.
  2. Let them cool, peel the skin off, and slice into rounds or cubes.
  3. In a saucepan, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and peppercorns. Bring to a boil.
  4. Place the beets into a clean jar and add garlic if desired.
  5. Pour the hot pickling liquid over the beets until fully covered.
  6. Seal the jar and let it cool.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 24 hours before eating for the best flavor.
