Ingredients

For the Chicken

1 1/2 lbs (700g) boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs, sliced into strips

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Garlic Yogurt Sauce

1/2 cup Greek yogurt

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon olive oil

Salt and black pepper to taste

For the Wraps

4–6 pita breads

1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved

1/2 cup cucumber, diced

1/4 cup red onion, thinly sliced

1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese

Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions

Marinate the Chicken: In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add chicken strips and toss to coat. Marinate for at least 20 minutes.

Cook the Chicken: Heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken strips and cook 6–8 minutes until golden and fully cooked through, stirring occasionally.

Prepare the Garlic Yogurt Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Assemble the Pita Wraps: Warm the pita breads. Spread a generous layer of garlic yogurt sauce on each pita, then top with cooked chicken, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, red onion, and feta.

Serve: Fold the pitas over the filling and garnish with fresh parsley. Serve immediately.
