Ingredients:
Fresh Ginger:
1 small piece (about 1 inch), sliced or grated.
Garlic: 1 small clove (crushed and left to sit for 5 minutes to activate the Allicin).
Coffee: 1 teaspoon of your preferred coffee (Black or Instant).
Lemon: Juice of half a fresh lemon.
Natural Honey: 1 teaspoon (used as a natural energy source and to improve taste).
Water: 1 cup (approx. 250ml).
Preparation Method:Infuse the Base: Place the water, sliced ginger, and crushed garlic in a small pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Brew the Coffee: Place the coffee in your mug. Pour the hot ginger-garlic water through a strainer into the mug.
The Cooling Phase: Let the drink sit for 3 minutes to cool slightly.
Note: Adding lemon and honey to boiling water destroys their beneficial enzymes and Vitamin C.
Final Additions: Add the fresh lemon juice and the teaspoon of honey. Stir well.Best Time to Drink:For Physical Performance: Consume this drink 30 to 60 minutes before activity to allow the caffeine and ginger to stimulate blood flow.
For Daily Energy: Drink it in the morning about an hour after breakfast.
Important Precautions:Avoid Empty Stomachs: Because of the acidity of lemon and the pungency of garlic/ginger, it is best taken after a light meal to prevent stomach irritation.Odor Control: Boiling the garlic with ginger and coffee significantly reduces its strong smell. You can chew a leaf of fresh parsley afterward to freshen your breath.Moderation: One cup per day is sufficient.
