Cheese Crust Breakfast Pizza

Ingredients:
For the Cheese Crust:

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

For the Topping:

  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ cup cooked breakfast sausage, crumbled
  • ½ cup bell peppers, diced
  • ¼ cup red onion, diced
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar or mozzarella (extra)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional garnish: fresh parsley, red pepper flakes Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet or pizza pan with parchment paper.

Make the Cheese Crust:

  • In a bowl, combine mozzarella, cheddar, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, and pepper.
  • Spread mixture into an even 10–12 inch circle on the prepared pan.
  • Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are golden and slightly crispy.

Prepare Toppings:

  • In a skillet, cook breakfast sausage until browned and crumbly; drain excess fat.
  • Lightly sauté peppers and onion for 2–3 minutes if you prefer softer veggies.

Add Eggs On Top:

  • Remove crust from oven. Gently crack 4 eggs on top (space them out).
  • Sprinkle sausage, peppers, onion, and extra cheese evenly over the crust.
  • Season with salt and pepper.

Bake Again:

  • Return to oven and bake for 8–10 minutes, until egg whites are set but yolks are still slightly runny (or longer if you prefer fully cooked yolks).

Garnish and Serve:

  • Sprinkle with parsley, red pepper flakes, or extra cheese if desired.
  • Slice into 8 pieces and enjoy warm!
