The Riddlel

The RiddleI have 6 eggs.
I broke 2.
I fried 2.
I ate 2.
How much is left?
The Logic
The trick is that it never says you used different eggs each time.

  1. Start: You have 6 eggs total. 2. Step 1 – I broke 2: Take 2 eggs from the 6 and break them. Now you have 4 whole eggs + 2 broken eggs. 3. Step 2 – I fried 2: You fry the same 2 eggs you just broke. You don’t break 2 new ones. Still 4 whole eggs + 2 eggs that are now broken and fried. 4. Step 3 – I ate 2: You eat the same 2 eggs you broke and fried. You don’t eat 2 new ones. The Answer
You used only 2 eggs for all three actions.
    6 – 2 = 4 eggs left.

The 4 remaining eggs were never touched.

Most people get it wrong because they add up 2 + 2 + 2 = 6 and think 0 are left. But the wording lets you use the same 2 eggs for breaking, frying, and eating.
