This comforting dish is rich, savory, and incredibly easy to make since everything cooks in just one pan.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 3 tbsp Butter
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 3 cups Beef broth
- 8 oz Bowtie pasta (Farfalle)
- 1 cup Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup Heavy cream
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Brown the Beef: In a large skillet or deep pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef with the Worcestershire sauce and Italian seasoning. Cook until browned and fully cooked through. Drain any excess grease.
- Sauté Garlic: Add the butter and minced garlic to the pan with the beef. Stir for about 1 minute until the butter is melted and the garlic is fragrant.
- Simmer Pasta: Pour in the beef broth and add the uncooked bowtie pasta. Stir well and bring the mixture to a boil.
- Cook: Once boiling, reduce the heat to low-medium and cover the skillet with a lid. Let it simmer for 12–15 minutes, or until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid has been absorbed.
- Make it Creamy: Remove the lid and stir in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Continue to stir for 1–2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the sauce has thickened into a creamy coating.
- Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve immediately.
Pro Tip: For the best texture, use freshly grated Parmesan rather than the bottled kind—it melts much smoother into the sauce!
