Creamy Crockpot Ham & Potatoes

4 to 5 medium potatoes,

peeled and thinly sliced

2 cups cooked ham,

diced

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup

Β½ cup milk

Β½ teaspoon garlic powder

Β½ teaspoon black pepper

Β½ teaspoon salt

Β½ teaspoon paprika (optional for color)

1 tablespoon butter (for greasing the crockpot)

1. Prepare the Crockpot:

Lightly grease the inside of your crockpot with butter or nonstick spray.

2. Mix the Sauce:In a bowl, whisk together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika until smooth.

3. Layer the Ingredients:

Arrange a layer of potato slices on the bottom of the crockpot.

Add a layer of diced ham, a sprinkle of chopped onion, and a handful of shredded cheese.Spoon a small amount of the creamy soup mixture over the layer.Repeat the layers (potatoes β†’ ham β†’ onions β†’ cheese β†’ sauce) until all ingredients are used, finishing with cheese on top.

4. Cook:Cover and cook on LOW for 6 to 7 hours or HIGH for 3 to 4 hours, until the potatoes are tender and the sauce is thick and creamy.
